Just like one job does not fit all, coaching
can be tailored to meet your needs. To accommodate
different learning styles and budgets I offer
one-on-one career coaching,career
counseling, group coaching,
Colorado life
coaching, and career coaching workshops by
phone, email, and in person in Denver, Colorado.
Below you will find an overview of the coaching
process and detailed information about each of
the coaching options.
What Happens During the Coaching
Process?
Regardless of which type of coaching you pursue,
there are five steps in the career coaching process:
- Discovery Process: Identify information
and work history relevant to current career
search. Add information about conditions under
which you work at your personal best, your five
top values and your strengths and talents.
- Career Blueprint: Using a method of open
ended inquiry the next step is an in-depth personal
discovery process to reconnect with the intelligence
of the heart, identify passions, interests as
well as your life purpose. This information
is then integrated with the information gathered
in the discovery process and you now have your
career blueprint.
- Career Research: During the process of
creating the career blueprint two or three career
options will have surfaced. Each career option
is thoroughly researched using a step-by-step
method to gain clarity. The result is a clear
career choice based on your personal career
blueprint.
- Identify Specific Career Opportunities:
Research begins to identify specific jobs, target
your resume, and fine tune your interview skills.
- Assessment: Since there is a learning
curve with each new career choice, you will
need to examine what your needs and resources
are to support you in shortening the learning
curve and efficiently working to your full potential.
Remember, going through these five steps is more
of a journey than a task list. When you can listen
to your heart as well as your head, you have the
opportunity to design a life and work that is
both purposeful and joyful.
